How do I create my first chord diagram?

How do I create my first chord diagram?

Creating your first diagram takes less than a minute. Here's how:

Step 1: Open Chorducate

Go to chorducate.com/create and you'll see an infinite canvas ready for your diagrams.

Step 2: Add a fretboard

Click the fretboard tool in the toolbar (it looks like a guitar neck). Click anywhere on the canvas to place your diagram.

Step 3: Add notes

Click on any fret position to add a note. You can:

  • Click to add a note
  • Click again to remove it
  • Drag to reposition notes
  • Change colors to highlight different fingers or scale degrees

Step 4: Customize (optional)

  • Add labels for finger numbers
  • Change the number of frets shown
  • Add a title or annotation
  • Switch between guitar, bass, or ukulele

Step 5: Export or share

When you're done, click Export to download as PNG or SVG, or click Share to generate a link.

That's it! You've created your first professional chord diagram.
