you can remove your pinky and turn
it into Bm7. functionally the same
as Dbm. very useful and i do this often
to make it easier on my hands
it's ok if the G string doesn't make any sound.
when i use this chord, i'll leave the G string
muted more often than not

normal way of playing Bm
*remove the pinky to turn it into Bm7.
functionally the same as regular
Bm but it's a bit easier to play

this right here is the GOAT of Bm voicings.
functionally the same as Bm but much easier
this shape is so useful and i'll use it like 93% of the time
really useful when going from Dsus2 to Bm

normal way of playing A
"lore accurate" normal way of
playing B but to be honest
other voicings sound better.
tbh only use this if you specifically
want this sound
if you do try and play it this way, use the
top of your pointer finger to try and mute the
low E string. but again,
other voicings sound better
X
you can remove your ring finger and turn
it into Am7. functionally the same as Am.
usually i'll just use regular Am shape but
i guess use this if you're feeling spicy???
tbh i hardly ever use it, regular Am is too goated

this is what i believe is the way
most people will play this chord
it's a "cheat" version because
it keeps B in the bass (instead of
Bb) but if you're playing without
a bass player, it will be fine
and if you're playing with a bassist,
they will cover the Bb for you
and it will also be fine
the "actual" version to play it
is a somewhat uncomfortable
stretch so this is perfectly fine

this makes Gracious God sound so good

A
1
* i personally like to play this version of A
with middle-ring fingers because it's more
comfortable for me. also makes changing
E, D, F#m, G#m etc (so many chords)
much much easier
4
*you can also remove the pinky if you want
**it's ok if the lower strings don't sound,
you'll build the strength eventually
B/C
3
this works the same as B
imo this sounds nicer and
fuller than the normal way
i also use this 99% of the time
*note: use your middle finger
and gently rest it on top of the
low E string to mute it
otherwise it'll sound like wrong

literally only in Gracious God
fun fact:
the Lore Accurate name of this
chord would actually be
"F#/A#"

it just depends
the GOAT of A major voicings
functions the same as A and sounds
really good. i'll use this like 99%
of the time when i play A

this is the "actual" version to play B/Bb
the only difference is the bass note in
the A string, which is shifted down a fret
(the note on 1st fret of the A string is Bb)
it's a bit of a stretch so if you can't do it
right now, just stick to the "cheat" version,
it still sounds good
X
you can also remove your
pinky and have the high e open
but i like playing it this way
